Welcome to the Old Smiddy Cottage

Our lovely 230 year old stone built traditional Scottish country cottage is full of charm and character. It is set in beautiful countryside surrounded by fields and woods close to the River Tay. It is located 10mls from Perth and 6mls from Blairgowrie.

Stay awhile, Kinclaven is an ideal base for sight seeing or touring. There are lots lovely walks and local places of interest to visit including Outlander film locations. The good road network allows you to make day trips to Scotland’s famous tourist attractions -  for example the Highlands, Inverness, Cairngorm National Park, Aviemore, Royal Deeside, Balmoral and Braemar, Aberdeen, Dundee, St Andrews,  Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and Stirling. No need to pack your case and move on each day!

There is off road parking, a large garden and patio with garden furniture. A car is essential.
